About

Baton Rouge Cricket Club has been in existence in Baton Rouge since 2008, and has gradually become one of the most well-established cricket clubs in the State of Louisiana. Over the past few years, BRCC has significantly grown in strength, and now has a dedicated cricket field at State Fair Grounds on Airline Hwy. The strength of the club lies in its diversity, which includes both working and student population from Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. The club welcomes all players from both cricket-playing and non-playing nations, and is always on the lookout for new talent. In 2015, the Board of Members (hereafter referred as “Board”) of BRCC decided to incorporate the club as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization in order to strengthen the legal, social, and financial aspects of the club. BRCC is committed to maintaining highest standards of behavior and conduct.

The BRCC is also committed to build and develop the necessary infrastructure and provide opportunities to current and prospective cricketers through training and competition. The BRCC strives to build a mutually supportive environment to allow the sport to gain popularity in the region. The club currently has more than 100 members that participate in both recreational and competitive level sport.

Purpose

The Baton Rouge Cricket Club (BRCC) was formed to bring organized cricket to Louisiana and other neighboring states that lack proper structure to play regular, competitive cricket. The club welcomes both experienced and beginner players from all nations, and is always on the lookout for new talent, to take this game forward in and around the city. BRCC also strives to promote and develop the sport of cricket among the local population through education, organization and competition as a non-profit organization.

In 2015, the Board of Directors of BRCC decided to incorporate the club as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization in order to strengthen the legal, social, and financial aspects of the club.
